Break Through the Plateau Your Training Won't Solve.

Performance neuromuscular physiotherapy for serious athletes who've stopped getting better - even though they haven't stopped training; London clinic and online. If strength, fitness, and discipline aren't the limiter - your nervous system and fascia are.

Built by an international swimmer who's still in the water - and a clinician who's spent years developing this approach with athletes across sprint, endurance, racquet, and team sport.

Athlete undergoing the performance program

You've Been Solving the Wrong Problem.

When performance stalls, the instinct is to train harder. More volume. Heavier loads. But if you've already done the work, and the gains have flattened, the limiter isn't more fitness. It's how your body expresses movement efficiently the way you need it to.

Most plateaus come from four places, none of which more conventional training will fix:•

  • Force leaks. Power generated in the hips or core dissipates before it reaches your hands, your feet, the ground, the racket.

  • Nervous system lag. Your muscles are strong. The signal coordinating them isn't fast or precise enough to use that strength.

  • The connective tissue that should transmit forces across your body is acting like a brake instead of a spring, delaying speed and wasting force.

  • Compensations from old injuries - Movement patterns built around a niggle three years ago are still capping your output today.

You can't out-train inefficient movement. The athletes who break through plateaus aren't doing more - they're doing it cleaner.

How We Unlock the
Performance You've Already Built.

Four shifts, working together. Each addresses a different limiter, and reinforces the others.

01

Train the system that runs the muscles.

Strength without precise neural control is wasted potential. We work on movement timing, intermuscular coordination, and the brain-body feedback loop that decides how much of body you actually use to generate your strength and power.

What you'll feel: faster reactions, sharper change of direction, more usable power at high speed.

02

Fix the lines force travels through.

Force doesn't move muscle by muscle, it moves through fascial chains that span your whole body. When those tissues are stiff, scarred, or poorly loaded, you leak energy at every step. We restore the elasticity and connection that lets force pass through cleanly.

What you'll feel: better bounce, less effort at the same pace, a sense of springiness returning.

03

Make every output cost less.

The strongest athlete isn't always the fastest. The most efficient one is. We rebuild how you organise movement so the same effort produces a bigger result - and the same result costs less with each rep.

What you'll feel: lower fatigue from the same training load, faster recovery between sessions.

04

Train the gains into your sport, not just the gym.

Carryover is the only metric that matters. Every drill, every session connects back to the demands of how you actually compete - running gait, swim catch, racquet rotation, jump mechanics - so improvements show up in your sport, not just on the table.

What you'll feel: PBs return, race times drop, you feel like the athlete you were two seasons ago - or one you've never been.

The 14-Week Performance Programme.

Fourteen weeks. Two phases. London clinic and/or online sessions. Built around the demands of your sport - and around how long the tissues we're working with actually takes to change.

Why 14 weeks (not 4, 8, or 12)?

Most rehab and performance plans run on calendar logic - six weeks, eight weeks, three months - because those numbers are tidy. We run on biological logic instead.

Fascial tissue takes approximately 96 days to fully remodel at a cellular level. Anything shorter produces temporary changes - improvements that feel real for a few weeks, then quietly slip back. Fourteen weeks is the minimum window in which the work actually becomes permanent.

That's why you stay with us through phase two even when you're already feeling the difference. The first half of the programme creates change. The second half locks it in.

Session1 - The Performance Audit

We map how your body produces, transfers, and absorbs force across the patterns your sport demands.

This isn't a generic assessment - it's targeted at the limiters most likely to be capping your output
.

Phase 1- Weeks  1-7: Build (the change phase)

Weekly 1:1 sessions. Targeted exercise plan with progress markers built in. This is where the foundation shifts happen - fascial restoration, neural retraining, force-transfer work. By week 7, you'll feel the difference. The work isn't finished yet.

Phase 2 - Weeks 8-14: Embed (the lock-in phase)

Sessions move to every two weeks. The remodelling work needs to mature - and the new patterns need to hold up under fatigue, under pressure, and in your sport. We test, refine, and consolidate the changes so they're still there in six months, not just six weeks.

SESSION 1 - 90 minutes. Before any plan is built.

You will leave with:

  • A clear picture of where force is leaking and why

  • Baseline measurements we'll retest at week 7 and week 14

  • Your phase 1 plan, written for your sport, your schedule, and your training load

SESSIONS 2 to 10 - 60 minutes. Create the change and lock it in.

IN BETWEEN SESSIONS - You get a structured plan, not a wishlist. Clear progress trackers. Direct access to me by message for plan questions or unexpected niggles. Adjustments made as your body responds.

This isn't a programme you can outsource to the sessions. The work between sessions is where the change actually happens.

In phase one (weeks 1–7), expect 2-3 hours/week of structured work outside our sessions - much of it short daily inputs (10–20 minutes) that fold into your existing routine, plus one longer integration session.

In phase two (weeks 8–14), this rises to 4-5 hours/week outside our sessions, as the work becomes more challenging and sport-specific.

For most athletes already training 6+ hours a week, much of this overlaps with what you're doing already. We restructure existing time more than we add to it.  Certain sessions can also be arranged online. The exact plan is built around your week, your sport, and your training load in session one.

LPG M6 Massage (3 sessions included)

Mechanical fascial treatment that supports myofascial release, fascial hydration, lymphatic drainage, and fibroblast tissue regeneration. Booked at strategic points in the programme to amplify what we're doing in 1:1 sessions.

Performance Means Numbers. You'll Get Numbers.

Every athlete in the programme is retested at the same checkpoints - week 1, week 7, week 14. You see exactly what's changed and what's still on the list.

Depending on your sport, this may include:

  • Muscle signals and asymmetry across key movement patterns

  • Reactive strength and elastic output (drop jump, hop tests)

  • Movement quality scoring across your sport's primary demands

  • Fatigue resistance - the same output, measured fresh and fatigued. Range, control, and load tolerance in the joints most relevant to your sport

You leave with a clear before/after - not a vague sense that things feel better.

Is This Right for You?

This is for you if you:

  • Train consistently and take your performance seriously - whether you're competing, racing, or pursuing a personal standard

  • Have hit a plateau that doesn't match the work you're putting in

  • Feel strong but no longer feel fast, elastic, or efficient - or feel like you used to

  • Pick up recurring niggles despite doing everything right

  • Compete in an individual sport (running, swimming, racquet, cycling, multi-sport) or a team sport where speed, change of direction, and durability matter

  • Want to stay durable for years, not just to survive this season

This isn't for you if you:

  • Are looking for a one-off injury treatment - see our "Sports Injury" page instead

  • Aren't training consistently enough to follow a structured 14-week plan

  • Want a quick fix rather than a system shift

I struggled with plantar fasciitis and posterior tibial tendon issues for over two years. I wasn't able to dive into the pool, hike, or run without it flaring up. Regular PT exercises and insoles only provided partial relief, and I didn't want to have to rely on them for the rest of my life. I started working with Jeffrey, who took me through a 14 week training program designed to remodel the fascia in the bottom of my feet. After14 weeks, I have noticed I have little to no pain doing things I haven't done in years. I'm back to hiking, walking, and even running without any issues. I have also noticed better connection in my swimming as well. I now feel a much better connection throughout the back of my legs, allowing me to emphasize the up-kick phase of my dolphin kick. Before this training, I used to kick mostly from the knees and struggled to engage my core and body effectively, but now I feel more connected and feel like I am able to generate more power using my entire body during underwater kicks. Jeffrey's expertise made a huge difference, and I highly recommend him and his training.

Work with Jeffrey

Chartered Physiotherapist & 2-time World Masters Champion

Most physios treat the body in front of them. Jeffrey treats the athlete inside it - and there is a meaningful difference.

Jeffrey founded beMaverick because he was tired of a system that hands athletes generic exercises, charges them a fee, and books them back in six weeks later. That model keeps clinics busy. But it does not move performance forward.

As an athlete still competing at international level himself, Jeffrey understands what it means to demand real output from your body, and what it costs when training stops producing results. He has built a practice entirely around committed athletes who want to understand exactly what is capping their performance, fix it properly, and break through to a level their training alone cannot reach.

His approach is grounded in nervous system retraining, fascial restoration, and force-transfer work - methods rooted in how elite bodies actually produce and deliver power and sustain endurance. No passive treatment. No dependency. A programme built around your body, your sport, and the standard you are competing against.

I work with a limited number of athletes per quarter so each programme gets the attention it needs. If the next intake is full, you'll be added to the waitlist for the following one.

What the programme is worth in context.

£1,800 over 14 weeks works out at roughly £128 per session - comparable to a single one-off appointment at most London performance clinics, but with 14 sessions of full structured measurement built in. That's 14 hours of clinical work, built around how long the tissue actually takes to change.

It's also less than:

  • A single warm-weather training camp

  • A spring marathon trip with flights, entry, and accommodation

  • A year of weekly S&C coaching at London rates

  • A single round of imaging and consultations once a niggle becomes an injury

The harder maths is the other one: another season of training the same way produces another season of the same results. The work to break that cycle is fixed - the question is whether it happens this year or next.
